He's a thrilling blend of wild adventure and devoted affection, perfect for someone who craves the open trail, a daily runners high, or the quiet satisfaction of a long mountain hike. With his strong, athletic build and endless stamina, he's happiest logging long-distance adventures with his human. He recently crushed a 712-mile hike through the valley, proving himself to be an incredible hiking companion. He's not just a running buddy; he's the kind who'll carry his favorite chew bone to greet you at the door and then snuggle up close when the day is done. After a good walk or hike, Cash settles beautifully and is calm and relaxed in the house, but he's always ready for his next adventure at a moment's notice! At home, Cash is a big-hearted cuddlebug who adores cozy time with his human family, especially the younger crew. He is gentle and affectionate with children and shows adaptable play style, enjoying both rough-and-tumble play with other dogs and gentler interactions. He gets along well with some dogs but has made it clear he's not a fan of Frenchies.
Ideal Home
Johnny Cash needs an experienced, active pet parent who can confidently manage his strong prey drive. He cannot live with cats or be trusted off leash under any circumstances. He pulls toward squirrels and small dogs on walks and must remain securely leashed at all times outdoors.
