Gunner is a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound black and tan hound mix with a heart full of love and a personality to match! He was rescued from a small-town dog pound and is now ready to find his forever home. Gunner is a true gentleman who enjoys lounging indoors in the cool air conditioning, but he's always up for a quick romp and play with his doggy pals outside. He's a pro at crate training, comes when called, and is a champion rider in the car. He also knows how to sit for treats, walks politely on a leash, and even enjoys bath time! Gunner is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human attention and petting. He adores his toys, is motivated by treats, and loves to play with other dogs.

Gunner is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm-negative. He is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
Training & Support
As a typical hound, Gunner can get quite excited by squirrels and may bark at passersby, other dogs, and cats. He also has a knack for counter-surfing and, if not secured, has been known to raid the garbage. With some continued guidance and positive reinforcement, Gunner will surely continue to be a wonderful companion.
