Meet Orion! This handsome ~7-8 year-old Bullmastiff/Boerboel mix weighs a solid 120lbs. He arrived from an overcrowded shelter in California and has been patiently waiting for his perfect match for three years. Orion dreams of a calm, steady, and peaceful environment where he can truly relax and be himself.

Ideal Home

Orion would thrive in a quieter, suburban or rural setting, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. He needs a single-family detached home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can roam and spend time with his people. He'd particularly enjoy lounging in the sun during warmer months. Orion can be selective with other dogs; while he's shown to be friendly with submissive females, he would be happiest as the sole canine companion, soaking up all the attention. Experience with his breeds is a must for his adopter.

Orion is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Orion walks well on a leash, though he can be strong and requires a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a predictable routine.
