Meet Pluto — our handsome spotted sweetheart! 🖤🤍
At just a year and a half old, Pluto has already been through more than he ever should have, but despite it all, he still has so much love to give. This sweet boy absolutely yearns for affection and wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Once he trusts you, he LOVES hard — the kind of love that follows you around the house, lays beside you for comfort, and looks at you like you’re his whole world. Pluto has the cutest obsession with anything soft and fuzzy — blankets, stuffed toys, jackets, pillows… if it’s cozy, it’s automatically his favorite thing. He’s playful, goofy, full of energy, and loves to run and play outside. A home with a big backyard or a little land to roam would truly make him happiest.
Ideal Home
A home with a big backyard or a little land to roam would truly make him happiest. Pluto does have a strong curiosity toward cats and likes to chase them, so for everyone’s safety, we believe a cat-free home would be best. He needs patient, gentle people who understand that trust takes time. Harsh corrections or aggressive behavior will only make him more fearful.
Ongoing Health
Pluto is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.
Training & Support
Pluto does have some kennel and bone guarding behaviors. He prefers to be left alone while enjoying a bone or resting in his kennel, especially around men. Outside of those situations, he is incredibly loving and affectionate. He eats around people just fine and has never shown food aggression. He can also become overstimulated around bikes and strollers and will bark and react toward them, so continued patience and training will help him build confidence. Pluto is timid and unsure around men at first, and it’s very clear he likely experienced abuse in his past life.
