About Sally

Meet Sally!

Sally is a 30-pound bundle of pure, unconditional love. She's a professional cuddler and firmly believes that personal space is overrated. If your dream dog wants to be as close to you as physically possible, you've found her! Sally was found living under a trailer with her puppies after being neglected. Kind neighbors stepped in to help feed her, and eventually, they asked if they could take her in, which her former owner agreed to. Now, Sally is safe in a loving foster home, and those difficult days are behind her.

Sally adores everyone she meets, especially children. She also gets along well with other dogs, though she appreciates slow, proper introductions. Once she's comfortable, she's happy to make friends. That said, she'd be just as content as your one and only, because people are truly her favorite. Like the smart cattle dog she is, Sally learns quickly. She picked up potty training and leash walking with ease. She's currently working on crate training, but she isn't exactly a fan and is surprisingly talented at escaping! Thankfully, she has been trustworthy in the house and hasn't shown destructive behaviors, so she may not need to be crated once she's settled into her forever home. Although we estimate Sally is only about a year old, she has an old soul. Her rough start in life seems to have given her a calm, appreciative outlook. Don't get us wrong, she'll happily join you for hikes, road trips, neighborhood walks, or any adventure you have planned. But coming home afterward to curl up on the couch with her favorite people is just as exciting in her eyes. Sally has spent enough of her life wondering where her next meal or safe place to sleep would come from. Now all she needs is a family who will love her as fiercely as she'll love them.

Ideal Home

Sally would love a home where she can be close to her people, as she is a professional cuddler and considers personal space overrated. She enjoys the company of children and can get along with other dogs after slow, proper introductions.

Ongoing Health
