Birdy

Birdy is a wiggly, loving sweetheart who greets every day with joy and every person with a full-body tail wag. She’s a super cuddler, the kind of dog who happily leans in, rests her head on your arm, and soaks up every bit of affection you offer. She has medium energy, playful and bouncy when she first gets outside, then settling into a lovely rhythm on her walks. Once she’s moving, she’s actually quite manageable on leash, trotting along with curiosity and checking in often. Birdy adores other dogs, gets excited to meet them, and prefers gentle, friendly coexistence over rough play. She is a bright, affectionate girl who loves toys, loves people, and loves being part of the action. In quieter moments she’s pure sweetness, soft, snuggly, and eager to be close. Volunteers describe her as a "ham," a "wiggly sweetheart," and a dog who makes everyone smile. Birdy is ready for a home that will give her the love, structure, and companionship she’s been craving. With Birdy by your side, every day feels a little warmer and a lot more joyful.
