Luther is a sweet, silly, high-energy pup with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling! With his bouncy floppy ears and playful spirit, he's ready to find a forever home that will enjoy both his zoomies and his snuggles. This handsome Staffordshire Terrier mix is about 1 year old and weighs 55 pounds. He's neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Luther is a curious, playful, smart, silly, and affectionate boy who loves to be close to his humans, giving plenty of kisses and melting for belly scratches. When meeting strangers, he might be a little shy at first but warms up quickly with gentle reassurance.
Ideal Home
Luther would do well in many types of homes, whether it's an apartment or a house, as long as he receives regular exercise and continued guidance. A backyard would be a bonus for zoomies, but daily walks and playtime are just as great. He doesn't mind if he's the only dog or has canine siblings, but he'll always choose his humans first.

Luther is a healthy young boy with no known ongoing health concerns.
Training & Support
Luther is house-trained and has not had any accidents since his first day in foster care. He sleeps in his crate and settles within a few minutes, even when left alone for up to two hours. He does have a tendency to be somewhat barky when seeing other dogs on leash, but he walks beautifully side-by-side with a canine companion, and this can continue to improve with training. He is still learning confidence getting in and out of the car. As he is still learning what is and isn't a toy when left unsupervised, he is not yet ready to be left loose in the house.

Transporation
Luther is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to an adopter once approved. Transport is included in his adoption donation.
