Pepper

Pepper arrived at the shelter with her brother, Joel, after her family had to move and couldn't take them along. She has settled in well and is a volunteer favorite! Pepper is playful, affectionate, and happiest when she's getting belly rubs, playing tug, or tagging along for outdoor adventures. She can get excited when meeting new people and may jump at first, but she settles once she gets some attention. Pepper is house-trained, knows "sit," walks fairly well on a leash, and gets along with other dogs. She has also done well with cats and has been gentle with young children, though her enthusiasm can occasionally get the best of her. She rarely barks, loves rope toys and snacks, and would enjoy a home where she gets plenty of attention, playtime, and love. We would love if she could stay with her brother, Joel, but will adopt them separately to decrease their length of stay.
