Scooby is a handsome guy with a medium to high energy level who is looking for a family ready to help him continue building his confidence. He can be shy when meeting new people and prefers to take things at his own pace, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate companion. If there’s one thing Scooby loves, it’s being outside! Whether he’s running joyful laps around the yard or playing fetch. One of his favorite things to do is proudly carry his ball around after a game. He also loves to chew, so durable toys like Kongs and other enrichment toys would be great for him.

Training & Support

Scooby thrives with routine, structure, and continued positive training. He’s making great progress with crate training—he sleeps through the night in his crate and is learning to go in on command without needing guidance on a leash. According to his previous owner, Scooby did well with both dogs and children. While his foster hasn’t tested him with dogs, kids, or cats, he has remained calm and non-reactive when passing other dogs on walks.
