Cowboy is a resilient 2-year-old survivor with a past that's heartbreaking to imagine. He endured immense cruelty, having been used as a bait dog and then abandoned. Despite the trauma, Cowboy is now safe and receiving the medical care he needs. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and is undergoing treatment for heartworm. He can be cautious with other dogs and may do best as the only pet in the home, where he can truly relax and feel secure. Cowboy also takes some time to warm up to men, which is understandable given his history. He has overcome so much and now deserves a loving, stable home where he can finally experience unwavering safety and affection.
