Aria

Aria is a sweet, happy 6-year-old, 60-70 lb Pit/Husky mix with a remarkable pitty personality. She takes a moment to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she'll be your shadow and best friend for life. Aria loves to cuddle, be near her people, roll over for belly rubs, and melt into you between your legs. She's a playful girl who enjoys toys, chasing balls, and chewing. If you're not available to throw a toy, she'll toss it herself! Aria has been in our foster program for a few years, surrounded by love, which led to a slight weight gain. We've been helping her achieve a healthier weight, and while she has a little way to go, we've enjoyed our time playing ball, going on walks, and lounging with her. She arrived with puppies who have since found their homes and has been in rescue for about three years. Aria is shy around new people but forms deep bonds with those she knows. She has lived with other dogs but is particular about her canine companions.

Ideal Home

Aria would do best in a home with few visitors. She cannot be trusted around cats.

Ongoing Health

Aria is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms.

Training & Support

Aria is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. She is not a fan of crate training.
