Charlie

Charlie is a handsome 9-year-old, 50lb pit/lab mix with a mysterious past. He's a survivor who has overcome incredible odds, including a broken pelvis and heatstroke. While Charlie is still very skittish with humans and learning to bond, he's making progress every day, especially by observing other dogs. He's a big fan of walks now, a far cry from his initial struggles with leashes. He's also an escape artist when scared, so a secure environment is a must!

Ideal Home

Charlie would thrive in an adults-only home with patient, quiet people who understand he needs time to feel safe and build confidence. He needs someone committed to celebrating his small victories as he adjusts to life in a loving home.

Charlie has been neutered.

Training & Support

Charlie is a work in progress and is still learning to trust humans. He has been a major escape artist when scared. Patience and a consistent, calm environment will be key to his continued adjustment.
