Onyx is a goofy, 1.5-year-old Lab mix who weighs around 50 pounds. He recently discovered a love for dock diving, confidently launching himself into the water with a huge smile on his face, clearly in his element. He loves people and adores other dogs, always wanting to be a part of the fun. Onyx is especially hilarious when playing with other dogs, often showing a surprising submissiveness despite his size. His love language is definitely toys; he’s all in for fetch, tug-of-war, or keep-away, showing impressive focus. He also has a strong appreciation for kibble! Onyx had a tough start, being born and kept in a basement and rescued at 4 months old severely malnourished. Despite this, he's a total lovebug and friendly with everyone he meets.
