Meet Chance, a 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix with a gentle and soulful spirit. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter after being found abandoned. Chance has an "old soul" quality, evident in his eyes, and is a perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving, always sporting a smile that's sure to brighten your day. He's a smart boy who learns routines quickly and has a unique way of "reminding" you when you're running late by standing in the doorway and grunting.
Ideal Home
Chance would thrive in a loving home with a predictable routine. He would do well with a semi-active family with older kids and another dog his size, or as the cherished only dog receiving all the attention. Due to a strong prey drive, cats are not a good fit for Chance.

Training & Support
Chance is a smart boy who learns quickly. While he can be a little stubborn when distracted by things like squirrels, he responds well to positive reinforcement and the word "cookie"! His love of treats makes him an excellent candidate for continued training. He has great house manners, is fully house-trained, and sleeps through the night. He's not a fan of crates with closed doors but is happy napping in open crates or anywhere comfortable.

- We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. If you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply.

Transporation
Transports run every few weeks and Chance will be on the next available transport once approved.
