Niko - Located in IN

Meet Niko! Niko is a stunning, roughly two-year-old Shepnois (Malinois x GSD) who is friendly, affectionate, and learning the ropes of being a dog! He came to us as a stray found wandering the streets of NYC. His foster describes him as having a medium drive with a great off-switch, meaning he can be active but also settle down nicely. Niko is looking for his second chance at a forever home and is eager to find his people.

Ideal Home

Niko would do best in a home without young children or small animals.

Ongoing Health

Niko is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and is currently being treated for heartworm. He also has some minor resource guarding issues that are improving with training. He is very gentle with food and treats and loves affection from his people. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and a 6-month subscription.

Training & Support

Niko is working on some minor resource guarding, but he is making great progress with his foster! He is a patient and loving boy once he gets to know you.

Transportation

Niko is located in Indiana. If you are within 4 hours of his location, you will be expected to pick him up. We provide transport assistance up to 350 miles, but the applicant must drive the remainder of the distance.
