Mojo

Mojo is an 8½ year old male German Shepherd with a remarkable comeback story! He and his mother were found abandoned and living in squalor, resorting to eating rats to survive. Mojo arrived in 2024 in poor physical condition, struggling with severe genetic hip issues that made walking painful and limited his movement. Thanks to successful bilateral hip surgeries, Mojo is now living his best life, running with joy and making up for lost time! He is wonderful with people, affectionate, gentle, and a true love sponge once he bonds with you. Mojo is also good with other dogs, provided they are respectful and don't engage in rough play, as his hips need gentle companions. He would do best with children over 10 who understand how to interact gently with dogs.

Ideal Home

Mojo needs a securely fenced yard and a home where significant stair walking is not required. He gets around well, but fewer stairs would be ideal. He is a firm "no" to cats and any small animals.

Ongoing Health

Mojo has undergone bilateral hip surgeries.

Training & Support

Mojo is well-mannered, housebroken, and easy to live with. He knows how to settle and relax, making him a great household companion.
