Romeo

Romeo is a 4-year-old, 55-pound German Shepherd - Labrador mix with short, black and light brown fur. He's a playful, cheerful, intelligent, and affectionate boy who loves human contact and hugs. Romeo enjoys running and can be a bit vocal when strangers approach, but he's generally sociable with people and other dogs. He was rescued as a puppy with his sister, Julieta, after a frightening encounter where they were almost hit by someone trying to drive them away. They were malnourished and dehydrated, and after a vet stay, they've been in the care of a dedicated rescuer. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Romeo is now looking for a stable, loving, and responsible forever home where he can finally experience the warmth of a family.

Romeo is spayed and vaccinated. He has no known special needs.

Training & Support

Romeo is intelligent and affectionate, and he enjoys human contact. He barks at strangers, so some continued training in this area might be beneficial.

• Fill out an adoption application form.
• Send photos of the home where the pet will live.
• Participate in a video conference to meet you, see your home, and introduce the pet.
• If the adoption is viable, an adoption contract will be signed.
• The adoption fee will be finalized prior to transport and includes spay/neuter, complete vaccination, deworming, one month of tick and flea treatment, a health certificate, and an import certificate.
• Transport fees, ranging from $300-$350 USD, are the adopter's responsibility and are paid before or after delivery, depending on the transport company.
