Meet Brutus, a lovable house hippo looking for his forever family! This sweet boy, who is about 1.5 years old and weighs 79 lbs, was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of his own. His former family described him as house-trained, great with children, and good with other dogs. Our volunteers have found Brutus to be friendly, goofy, and full of love. He enjoys a good game of tug-of-war and loves belly rubs. Brutus already knows commands like sit, down, and stay. If you're searching for a loyal and fun-loving companion, Brutus might be the one for you!

Ideal Home

Brutus would thrive in a home where he can share his love and playful energy. His previous family noted he is great with children and gets along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Brutus is up-to-date on his vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption.

Training & Support

Brutus is already house-trained and knows several basic commands, including sit, down, and stay. He's a smart boy who enjoys interactive play.
