Meet Leon — the cuddle-powered companion you didn’t know you needed. Leon is the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do, preferably while touching you at all times. His signature move? Full-body cuddles. If you sit down, Leon considers that an invitation to become your weighted blanket. He enjoys four smaller meals spaced throughout the day, daily walks, some playtime in between naps, and plenty of opportunities to relax near his people. He’s fully housetrained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night — happily snoozing up to 12 hours in his crate. He communicates his needs wonderfully by sitting at the door when he needs outside or heading to his crate when he’s ready for rest. While Leon loves people most, he has also done well with both large and small dogs in previous foster settings. He doesn’t require another dog in the home but would likely enjoy a calm, compatible canine companion. He can be reactive if another dog reacts first, so thoughtful introductions and respectful dog friends are best. He’s also lived successfully around dog-savvy cats and has shown no prey drive. Leon is affectionate, gentle, and quietly devoted to his humans. He enjoys independent toy play but is happiest hanging out with his people and being included in daily life. He’s patient when left alone, settles well in his crate, and has been left for up to six hours without issue. The most important thing to know about Leon? He will absolutely love you with his whole heart. He’s the kind of loyal companion who quietly becomes your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your best friend all at once.
