Hello! I am Mae Mae, a beautiful adult Pit Bull Terrier mix girl. I came to OCAS as a transfer from another shelter, and I was noted as being friendly and good for handling during my intake process. I'm an absolute sweetheart and a cuddlebug who loves to get on the couch and sit or play right next to you. I’m a lap dog in a pittie body and a true Velcro dog who wants to be where the people are. I love rolling in the grass and belly rubs. I showed curiosity about the cat but was not aggressive or attacking. I get very excited about other dogs, but I play a little too rough for senior dogs.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home where I can be close to my people. While I'm curious about cats, a home with a dog who can handle my playful exuberance would be best.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

I pull a little on leash and jump to greet, but I am easily corrected and respond well to praise. I prefer stuffies over firmer toys and enjoy treats. I prefer wet food over dry food but don't seem to be food aggressive.
