Gucci's story started a little rough. He was found wandering the streets in terrible condition, covered in fleas and suffering from a severe skin infection. He was dirty, uncomfortable, and had scratched himself so much that he was bloody in places. Since coming to Badass Bulldog Rescue, Gucci has been living the spa life. With medications, prescription food, and medicated baths three times a week, this handsome guy has made an incredible transformation and is feeling better every day.
Now that he's feeling good, his personality is shining through... and trust us, he has plenty of it.
Gucci is a sweet, affectionate bulldog who believes every person, child, and dog he meets is his new best friend. Personal space? Never heard of her. If you're sitting down, Gucci assumes you've done so specifically to cuddle him. If you're talking to him, be prepared for him to talk back because this boy has opinions and isn't afraid to share them.
He recently received the famous Badass Bulldog Special; neuter, palate surgery, and nares surgery. Basically, we sent him in for a tune-up and he came back breathing easier and ready to take on the world.
Gucci loves car rides, hanging out with his dog friends, and spending time outside. Well... sort of. He loves being outside if everyone else is outside too. If his friends go inside, Gucci immediately begins questioning why he's been abandoned and would also like to come in, thank you very much. He'd much rather be with his people and canine buddies than spend time by himself.
Gucci has come a long way from the miserable boy found on the streets, and now he's ready to find a family of his own. One that appreciates cuddles, conversations, car rides, and having a shadow that occasionally argues with them.
If you're looking for a lovable, social bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Gucci is ready to pack his bags and move in. Just be warned: he fully expects to be included in all family activities and may file a formal complaint if left out.
Adoption Process
-All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention.
-Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area.
-We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
