Meet Iris! This sweet 10-year-old Corgi, weighing around 40 pounds, is proof that age is just a number. Iris spent the first part of her life as a mama, and now she's ready for her own happily ever after. She's a master of the perfect balance between a nice stroll and a cozy nap, and she's still got plenty of pep in her step. Iris is affectionate without being clingy, enjoying her own space before seeking out some love and gently nudging you if petting time ends too soon. She's a dream companion who walks beautifully on a leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and house trained. Iris gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a fantastic fit for almost any family. The only thing she'll ask for is a little help with stairs now and then. Iris deserves a second chapter filled with cozy beds, gentle walks, endless ear scratches, and a family who loves her for her sweet, easygoing self.
