Phillip

Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix with an Olympic-level talent for flinging plushie toys! Phillip's love for playtime is only matched by his love for cuddles, and he's a total superstar when it comes to bath time. He might be a little shy at first, but this big-hearted pup is gaining confidence and finding his voice every day.

Ideal Home

Phillip would do best in a home where he can continue to build his confidence. He is looking for a family that understands he is a work in progress and can provide him with patience and love. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Phillip is a healthy boy with a moderate to high energy level. He needs daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and engaged.

Training & Support

Phillip is working on his leash manners and is crate-trained. While he knows "sit," his enthusiasm for treats can sometimes get the best of him, but he's making great progress. Supervised play is a must, as he has a strong bond with his chew toys. He is not a fan of hands being raised, so his new family will need to help him understand that hands are for petting, not threats.

Transporation

Phillip is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. Transports depart weekly.
