Meet Nola!

Nola is a sweet, loyal, 3-year-old, 65-lb pit bull mix looking for her forever home. She's a playful and loving pup with a big personality and a joyful spirit. Nola loves running around and playing, especially with kids! Her favorite game is chasing and running by their side, and she can keep up until she’s had her fun. Once she’s tired, though, she’ll look for a cozy spot to rest and may prefer a little quiet time to herself.

Nola is very curious and observant, and while she enjoys being social, she can be shy at first—especially around men since she hasn’t had much exposure to them. With patience and kindness, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. She isn’t the biggest fan of water, but she doesn’t mind bath time and will tolerate it without too much fuss. Nola has a gentle and sensitive side, so she’ll thrive best in a calm, loving home that gives her both playtime and space when she needs it.

Ideal Home

A family with children who understand when to give her breaks would be a wonderful fit. She’d also do well with someone who can give her consistency, patience, and lots of love.

Ongoing Health

All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Nola can be shy around men, so patience and kindness will help her warm up.

Transportation

Nola is located at Companion Animal Alliance. CAA is open for adoptions Sunday through Monday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No appointments are necessary, so please feel free to stop by to meet Nola.
