Rusty

Rusty is a young, small male dog, primarily a Chihuahua mix with some Terrier in his lineage. He's a beautiful red/chestnut color and has a medium coat length. Rusty has a heartwarming backstory and can be a little shy at first, but with a little time and patience, his affectionate and gentle nature shines through. He's a smart boy who learns quickly, and his lovable personality makes him a wonderful candidate to be your next best friend. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, Rusty is the one for you!

Ideal Home

Rusty would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and loved. Please note that Rusty has not had positive interactions with children under 8, and due to his shyness, a home without young children might be best. He does get along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rusty is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Rusty is house-trained and knows basic commands. Given his initial shyness, continuing with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance will help him continue to build confidence.
