Wastey

Wastey is a truly special girl who has overcome a difficult start in life. Found as a tiny pup in a trash bag near a creek with her siblings, she was rescued and brought to the W&S Sanctuary. From four weeks old, she's blossomed into a confident and loving companion, affectionately nicknamed after her original name, "Waste Management." Wastey is a stunning dog with captivating eyes that will instantly draw you in. She has a playful "bossy" streak that helps keep the other dogs in line and is known as the doting "aunt" to the younger pups. When it comes to her favorite humans, Wastey lives for couch snuggles and greets her people with a happy, rumbling "bear growl" play howl.

Wastey would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and truly cherished for her smart and sassy personality. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she deserves a strong, one-on-one bond with a family where she won't get lost in the pack.

Ongoing Health

Wastey is spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccines and preventatives.

Training & Support

Wastey is potty trained and crate trained, comfortable being in her crate for meals, treats, naps, bedtime, and when her humans are out. She has successfully completed basic obedience classes. Wastey loves to run and play, but potential adopters should be aware that she can jump small fences and dig out, so a secure yard is essential. She is great with other dogs, cats, and people, though she may take a little time to warm up to them initially.
