He was found wandering alone, with no one to follow and no one to trust. But Rebel kept going, and now this handsome one-year-old is ready to find his person. Every day, Rebel gets a little braver and a little more curious, and he's starting to believe that the world has something good in store for him after all. He just needs the right person to prove it.

Rebel is discovering how fun life can be, and it's a joy to watch him. He loves fresh air, new surroundings, and exploring at his own pace. His playful personality is peeking through more and more as his confidence grows. Short walks and new experiences light him up, and he's learning and loving every step of the way. He is still working on leash comfort, but he's making real progress, and you'll get to be there for every milestone.

Once Rebel feels comfortable, he is gentle, affectionate, soft-natured, and deeply loyal. He may take a moment to warm up, but give him that moment, and you'll see his sweet nature shine. He bonds deeply and stays close once he trusts you. He has a quiet tenderness that makes you want to protect him and cheer him on. Patient, consistent love is all it takes to earn his total, unwavering devotion.

His perfect day would involve a short, confident walk with his person by his side, exploring somewhere new at his own comfortable pace. He'd enjoy quiet time in a safe space where he can breathe, and evenings close to his person, calm, safe, and finally understanding what forever feels like.

Ongoing Health

Rebel is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. He has also received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Rebel is still working on leash comfort but is making good progress.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adopter must be 18 years of age or older with a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Complete your online adoption application.
• Our team will reach out to schedule your Meet and Greet with Rebel and an Adoption Coordinator. Virtual options are available when needed.
• Please bring a secure leash or travel carrier with you at pickup.
• We accept cash, check, money orders, and debit or credit cards (a processing fee applies to card transactions).
• A signed Spay and Neuter Agreement and a fully refundable $100 cash deposit are required for pets not yet spayed or neutered at adoption. Your deposit is returned upon proof of completed surgery, which is covered in the adoption fee.
