This black and brown lab mix takes a moment to warm up to unfamiliar faces, quietly observing the world around her before deciding it's safe to lean in. With her siblings, though, it's a different story. Ruthie loves to play, tumble, and be part of the fun, showing off a gentle, happy side that comes naturally when she feels comfortable. She's especially fond of snuggling up in a cozy puppy pile, and that same love extends to her people once she knows she can trust you. At around 11 lbs, Ruthie is a soft, affectionate companion who bonds deeply and loves quietly. She's the kind of puppy who doesn't just give love freely to everyone, but when she gives it to you, it really means something. Like all puppies, Ruthie will need patience and consistency as she grows and gains confidence. With a little time and a lot of love, she'll blossom into a loyal, snuggly best friend who will always be happiest right by your side!

Like all puppies, Ruthie will need patience and consistency as she grows and gains confidence. She will benefit from continued training and socialization.

• Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
• The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting, transport, a Martingale collar, and a health certificate.

Transportation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time.
