Meet Lil Guy Lou, or LG as he's known to his many fans! This goofy, lanky boy is the definition of happy-go-lucky, and he's absolutely thriving in his foster home. He's quickly become everyone's favorite companion, known for his sweet personality, playful spirit, and endless love for both people and other dogs. LG's story is one of a dog who blossoms with the right company and encouragement, and he's ready to find his forever family.

Ideal Home

LG would truly flourish in a home with a confident canine sibling to be his playmate and best friend. Having another dog around helps him feel secure and brings out his happiest, most relaxed self. He enjoys staying active and would love a home where he can enjoy adventures, snuggles, and most importantly, a canine best friend to share life with. He has done great free roaming in the fosters house when they leave but doesn't care much for the crate.

Ongoing Health

LG is a healthy boy who has received all his vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and is up-to-date on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

LG is a loyal shadow who loves being close to his people. He's an excellent walking and running partner and a fantastic passenger in the car. While he's great free-roaming when his foster family leaves, he's not a fan of crates. He benefits from having a canine companion to help him feel secure.

Transporation

LG is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
