BRIGHTON

Brighton is a charming approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who bravely overcame a difficult start. He arrived at a local shelter with a shattered front leg that unfortunately required amputation. Despite this, Brighton has adapted remarkably well to being a tripod and navigates his world with impressive agility, even hopping onto cars and couches with ease. He's his foster mom's shadow, following her everywhere, and loves nothing more than to snuggle on her lap or sleep at the foot of her bed. He coexists peacefully with other dogs, though he's not a big player, and seems to ignore the foster's cats. This sweet, house-trained boy walks well on a leash and is ready for a home filled with lots of TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can receive abundant TLC. We do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old and require an experienced dog owner.

Ongoing Health

Brighton has had his right front leg amputated due to previous injury. He is spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash.
