Angus is a big, goofy puppy who's looking for a home where he can remind you to play more and work less! He was found wandering near a local creek with his sire and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Now vetted and ready for his forever family, Angus is a neutered male Bullmastiff mix puppy who already tips the scales at over 60 pounds at just six months old. He's going to be a very large dog when fully grown!
Angus is still learning the ropes of being a well-behaved pup. He's a bit chaotic on leash walks, enjoying a good chew on it as he goes. He also enjoys playing with other dogs but is still figuring out how his size impacts his interactions. He's a bit too much for cats and would thrive in an active household with older children. Angus is doggie door trained, but his housebreaking is still a work in progress. He loves car rides but needs to be properly restrained. He's a big, goofy puppy who's going to need patience and understanding as he grows.

Angus would do best in an active household with older children. He needs a well-fenced yard to safely explore and play in. He is too much for cats.
Ongoing Health
Angus is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations (including rabies and Bordetella), and heartworm negative. He is microchipped and currently on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Angus is learning to walk on a leash and needs continued guidance with his chewing habits. While he is doggie door trained, he is not fully housebroken. He also needs proper restraint in vehicles due to his size and excitement.
