Solstice (Sol)

Solstice (“Sol”) is a sweet, thoughtful Great Pyrenees mix from an Alaska litter. She is guessed to be full Great Pyrenees, though this is not confirmed. Sol is approximately 4 months old and expected to grow into a large dog.

Sol is the quiet soul of her litter. She likes to observe new situations before gently joining in and takes time to get to know people. Once comfortable, she enjoys affection and shows a calm, kind personality. She forms deep bonds with her family and would love a home with cozy places to nap.

Ideal Home

Sol would thrive with a patient family who appreciates her reserved nature and will give her time to build confidence. She has done wonderfully around cats and is cat approved. She has also interacted positively with dogs and children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Sol is spayed and vaccinated. Her $300 adoption fee includes age-appropriate veterinary care completed through the program.

Training & Support

Sol’s adopter should continue her socialization and training while allowing her confidence to develop at her own pace. She is not yet house-trained.
