Ideal Home
Merle would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He's looking for a semi-active family who will include him in their daily adventures, whether that's running errands or simply relaxing at home. A house with a large fenced yard is preferred over an apartment, giving him space to stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. Merle would do best as the only dog in the home, as his happiest and most relaxed self shines when he doesn't have to share his space full-time.
Ongoing Health
Merle is a rescue dog, and while we believe him to be around 5 years old, we cannot guarantee breed or age. His adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Merle is treat-motivated and eager to please, making training a joy. He walks fairly well on a leash, with occasional pulling from excitement or to greet friends. He is working on basic commands like "sit" and will be a wonderful candidate for continued training and bonding. Merle is comfortable with mild hustle and bustle and is not easily overwhelmed.
