Fiona

Meet Fiona! Fiona is a two-year-old sweetheart who was dealt a tough hand. Neglected and abandoned, she's a survivor who is finally getting the love and attention she deserves. Fiona looks like she might have some Boston Terrier in her, with an earnest face and expressive ears. She weighs about 43 lbs and is incredibly sweet, if a little shy at first. Once she warms up, she blossoms into a happy, gentle lovebug who adores everyone she meets! She also enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive with a calm canine companion to show her the ropes. We'll be testing her with cats for potential adopters.

Ideal Home

Fiona would love a home where she can continue to heal and feel safe and secure. A calm canine companion could be a great addition to her life.

Ongoing Health

Fiona was treated for heartworms and needs to take it easy while she recovers. This means no strenuous play for now, but she's learning to enjoy leash walks, even if she pulls a bit out of enthusiasm to explore!

Training & Support

Fiona is not yet housetrained but is a quick learner and will likely pick it up with consistency and gentle guidance. She's eager to please and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement as she continues to learn what a loving home feels like.

Transportation

Fiona is currently located at Charles Smithgall Humane Society. Adopters must come to the shelter to pick up their new family member. We do not ship or transport animals.
