Ari is a loyal and loving 8-year-old Poodle looking for his forever home. He was rescued as a young pup and, after some initial fear and mistrust due to his past, has blossomed into the sweetest boy. Ari is quiet, well-mannered, house-trained, and crate-trained. He knows basic commands like come, sit, and shake, and has excellent recall. He loves his toys and chews. Ari has lived with a senior couple for the last six years and is ready to bring his gentle giant nature to a new loving household.

Ideal Home

Ari would thrive in a quiet household with someone to love. He would not do well in a home with other dogs or young children due to a slight food aggression when he has a treat.

Ongoing Health

Ari is in good health. He has slight age-appropriate arthritis in his hips and was a bit overweight when he came to us. He has since been moved to a low-calorie food and is back to a healthy weight.

Ari has a slight food aggression when he has a treat, so this is something to be mindful of. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has good recall.
