This resilient one-year-old boy was found alone on the streets, battling a severe case of mange that left him without a coat. But look at him now! Thanks to a little TLC and a lot of spirit, his beautiful fur has almost fully returned, and his heart is wider than ever. At 35 lbs, Chance is the "Goldilocks" size-perfect for apartment living, yet sturdy enough for a backyard game of fetch. Chance is a professional companion who is the ultimate snuggle bug, incredibly patient and gentle with children, and a dream on a leash. He loves car rides and social outings, just wanting to be by your side.

Ideal Home

Chance is looking for a family that is ready to be his "everything." Because he loves his humans so much, he'd prefer a home where someone is around more often than not. While he loves his canine companions, he's still learning that not every new dog is a threat, and once he's besties with a canine, he is a loyal friend. He can get a little overexcited or nervous when meeting new four-legged friends, so he'll thrive with a family that can give him slow, patient introductions and help him continue to build his confidence.
