Hector

Meet Hector! This handsome 48-pound hound mix is about 10 years old and a true sweetheart who was found with a wire tightly wrapped around his front leg. Sadly, the damage was too severe, and amputation was the only option. In his short time with us, Hector has shown us just how special he is. He’s calm, quiet, house-trained, and gets along well with other dogs. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a big, happy “smile.” Hector’s idea of a perfect day involves rolling in the grass, soaking up the sunshine, and then stretching out for a cozy nap, preferably with plenty of belly rubs. As a senior pup, he enjoys life at a slower pace.

Ideal Home

Hector would do best in a peaceful home with a comfy bed and few stairs where he can move comfortably and safely.

Ongoing Health

Hector is a tripod and has had one of his front legs amputated.

Hector is house-trained and knows how to be a good companion.
