Hershey Kissinger

Hershey Kissinger is a sweet, young female dog who was rescued from a difficult situation with many other dogs. When she first came into rescue, she was very young and had no experience with toys or treats, and didn't quite know how to "dog." Her foster family worked patiently with her, showing her that life can be wonderful. She is kennel-trained and gets along well with cats. However, larger dogs can be a bit intimidating for her. Hershey truly shines when she's with her people, showing immense affection and a love for attention. She is house-trained and prefers to spend her time indoors with her family. She has learned to enjoy toys and has become proficient at walking on a harness and leash, though she'd rather be inside most of the time. Sadly, Hershey's previous adoption fell through due to unforeseen circumstances.

Ideal Home

Hershey thrives on human companionship and would do best in a home where she isn't left alone for extended periods. She needs chew toys to help with any anxiety she may experience.

Hershey is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hershey is house-trained and kennel-trained. She enjoys toys and is learning to walk on a harness and leash. She may need continued positive reinforcement for building confidence around new situations.
