Misty

Misty is a 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as soft as her fluffy coat. She’s on the quiet, shy side, but once she decides you’re in the club, she’s all sweetness. This is the kind of dog who will coexist politely with cats and make friends with other dogs without a fuss. She is probably best with kids past the screeching years. If you’ve been looking for a gentle companion who won’t knock over the furniture or start neighborhood drama, Misty is your girl!

Ideal Home

Misty's perfect home is one with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She will thrive with kindness, patience, and a little time to bloom. A sofa to crash on is a bonus.

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. This means she cannot use a collar with a leash; a chest-type harness is required for her safety and comfort throughout her life. Other than the occasional cough if she's clipped in wrong, it's not an issue.
