Jimmy, a 1.5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix weighing around 45 pounds, is your future best friend with two speeds: full throttle and full snuggle! He's a happy-go-lucky, energetic boy who wakes up every day ready to make friends, both human and canine. With a tail that wags at what seems like 1,000 mph, Jimmy is playful, curious, and full of life, always eager to engage in a game of tag, tug-of-war, or a good wrestling match with a dog buddy. He is incredibly loving and thrives on physical touch and companionship, often sporting a mischievous smirk that perfectly matches his fun-loving personality.
Ideal Home
Jimmy would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. A yard is a bonus, but not required; what matters most is engagement and companionship. He'd love a work-from-home human or an active family who will include him in daily life. Another playful dog could be a great match, especially if they enjoy high-energy play. He may be too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision.

Training & Support
Jimmy is still polishing his leash manners, as he can pull when excited and is very curious about the world around him. With consistency and some solo walks, he'll continue to improve quickly, as he is very food- and praise-motivated and eager to learn. Crate training is a work in progress, but he's making great strides. He has no resource guarding, though he does think every toy is the best toy. He has not been tested with cats, but likely to chase at this stage.

Jimmy is currently in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to a city once an adopter is matched. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
