Sweet Potato is the epitome of a cuddle bug, a fluffy teddy bear who believes personal space is optional. She's incredibly affectionate, easygoing, and has a wonderfully comforting presence, making time spent with her feel like a deep exhale. Sweet Potato isn't one for chaos; she simply wants to be close to her people and soak up all the love she can get. She's the ideal companion for those who appreciate slow mornings, peaceful evenings, couch cuddles, and a loyal friend by their side.
Ideal Home
Sweet Potato would thrive in a home where she can be close to her humans. She has shown great gentleness and sweetness with children of all ages, including those as young as 5, and has interacted positively with a resident cat. She enjoys the company of other dogs who are calm and easygoing but is also perfectly content as the sole canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Sweet Potato is believed to be a GSD/Anatolian Shepherd mix, approximately 6 years old and weighing 57 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Sweet Potato has wonderful house manners, walks well on a leash, and is a polite lady. She is not a chaotic puppy and exhibits a balanced, low-energy, go-with-the-flow personality. While she generally gets along with other dogs, she will appropriately correct dogs or puppies that are overly persistent in their attempts to play, acting like a wise older sister.

Transporation
Sweet Potato is located in Texas. Nationwide transport is available through our rescue's USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A transport surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
