Meet Monterrey, affectionately known as "Monte"!

Some dogs steal your heart with boundless energy. Monte does it with his gentle eyes and quiet, loving spirit. At approximately 6 months old, Monte is a sweet, shy puppy who prefers to take his time getting to know new people and places. Once he feels safe, his affectionate personality begins to shine, and it's easy to see what a special boy he is. Monte came to rescue as part of an accidental litter from North Carolina and is now ready to find a patient, loving family of his own. He has a calm, quiet nature and enjoys the company of other dogs. He's not the life of the party; instead, he's the kind of companion who will happily stay by your side, enjoying peaceful walks, relaxing afternoons, and quiet moments together. With a little patience and encouragement, Monte continues to grow more confident every day. Monte may be a little shy at first, but the love and loyalty waiting beneath the surface are well worth the wait. He's looking for a forever family that will see the wonderful dog he's becoming and give him the chance to truly blossom.

Training & Support

Monte is mostly potty trained and is expected to grow to around 50 pounds when fully grown. Like any young puppy, he'll benefit from continued training, gentle guidance, and positive experiences as he gains confidence. He is looking for a family committed to continuing his training and celebrating his progress.
