Meet Ashton! This handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever is a bundle of joy and energy, looking for his forever home. Ashton was a beloved family pet since puppyhood, and while his move to the shelter has been a big adjustment, he's taking it all in stride with a happy and positive attitude. He absolutely loves a good game of fetch – he'll enthusiastically bring the ball back for another round! Ashton is a strong boy who enjoys being active and showering his people with affection. He's been great with other dogs at the shelter and has a big personality to match his large size.

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter. He will need a family committed to continuing his monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him healthy and happy for years to come.
