Tinkerbell is a truly special girl who blossoms with trust and affection. She can be a little reserved at first, taking in her surroundings and deciding what she thinks of new people. But once she knows you're a friend, she's all in! She'll lean into your pets, offer gentle kisses, and curl up beside you, looking at you as if you've been her favorite person all along. Watching her transform and show her sweet, loving nature is incredibly rewarding. Tinkerbell isn't a dog who gives her heart away easily, which makes it even more meaningful when she does. She loves being held, snuggling on the couch or bed, and following you from room to room. She has a way of making herself feel like family very quickly.
Ideal Home
Tinkerbell thrives in a home where she has a canine companion. She blossoms around other dogs, becoming more confident and social. Having another dog in the home is a non-negotiable for her. She also enjoys a backyard and would do best in a home with one rather than an apartment.
Ongoing Health
Tinkerbell is believed to be a Pittie/Cattle Dog mix, approximately 1-2 years old and weighing 43 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age cannot be guaranteed. She is crate trained and potty trained.
Training & Support
Tinkerbell is crate trained and potty trained. She is also described as having wonderful house manners. She has shown to be respectful around cats and has interacted well with children aged 8-14. She is not looking for a chaotic lifestyle and would do best in a calm environment where she has time to settle in.
