Marlow

Marlow is a 5-year-old, loving and protective dog. He's house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go out with a soft sound. Marlow is also crate-trained, responding well to the command "Go to jail" with a tasty treat. He enjoys playing gently with small dogs but is reactive and barks at larger dogs through fences. Marlow is protective of his food and needs to eat separately, but he can sit with other dogs for a treat when his name is called. He can be shy around new people in his home, so he's given his own space when guests visit. Good news: Marlow does not counter surf or raid the trash! He loves his walks and is a great car rider. He sleeps on the floor by the bed and thrives on being close to his people. Toys and chew bones are his favorites, and he enjoys hugs and kisses on the top of his head. We are currently working with him on his barking at dogs next door.

Ideal Home

Marlow would do best in a home where he can be close to his people. He needs to eat separately due to his food protectiveness.

Ongoing Health

Marlow is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines, including Bordetella and rabies. He has been heartworm tested and is on preventative medication for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.

Training & Support

Marlow is house and crate trained. He is working on his reactivity towards dogs through fences and when they are in the yard. He needs his own space when visitors are present.
