Fidella

Beagles are known for their incredible noses and happy-go-lucky attitudes, and Fidella is the epitome of both! This 100% Beagle girl has a heart as big as her floppy ears and is ready to find her forever family. Before coming to us, Fidella lived in a hutch and was used for hunting. While she excelled at tracking, her listening skills needed a little work, which is common for hounds! She was turned over to us after a heartworm diagnosis.

Ideal Home

Fidella would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard or where she can be kept on a leash at all times due to her strong tracking instincts. She's not suited for first-time dog owners, renters, or those unfamiliar with the Beagle breed.

Ongoing Health

Fidella has been treated for heartworm and is now ready for her happy, healthy life!

Training & Support

Fidella's nose is her world! When she catches a scent, she can become completely focused, making recall a challenge. She will also let out a good howl when she's on the trail. She's not a lap dog and is more independent, though she enjoys canine companionship. Fidella is house-trained and comfortable sleeping in her crate with the door open.
