Max

Hi there! I'm Max, a charming senior gentleman who originally hails from Texas. While I may be a seasoned fellow, don't let my age fool you – I've got plenty of spunk and a medium energy level. A couple of good, long walks a day would be just purrfect for me! I walk nicely on a leash, seem to be house-trained, and I'm quite content in my crate. I'm a friendly guy once I get to know you, and I generally do well with other dogs when we're off-leash. However, I can get a little leash reactive on walks, and I'm definitely not a fan of cats – I've been known to bark and chase them. When meeting new canine friends, I prefer a slow and gentle introduction, as I might give a little growl before I warm up. The good news is, I'm not a big barker in general, which makes me a great candidate for apartment or townhome living!

Ideal Home

A home that appreciates a dog with a little life experience and is ready for a senior spunkster! I'd do best in a home without cats.

Training & Support

I'm a good boy on leash and appear to be house-trained. I can be a bit leash reactive on walks, and prefer slow introductions to new doggy friends.
