Meet Wendell! This handsome 60 lb cattle dog mix was found after being hit by a car and was thankfully rescued and brought to us for care. After recovering in a foster home, Wendell is now ready to find his forever family! He's a typical cattle dog – a bit reserved at first, but quickly warms up to show his energetic, goofy, and slightly mischievous personality.

Ideal Home

Wendell would thrive in a home with people who have experience with his breed. He can be a little nervous and skittish, so a home with a confident dog companion would be wonderful to help him feel more secure and grounded.

Wendell has fully recovered from his injuries and is ready for a fresh start!

Wendell can be a bit nervous and skittish, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him build confidence. A canine companion in the home is recommended to help him feel more comfortable.
