About Shiba Inu Puppies

This little guy is a handsome red male Shiba Inu born on April 19, 2026. He's the sole offspring of a beautiful long-coated red sesame female and a cream male, both from champion bloodlines. Both parents have been extensively DNA tested and are clear of over 250 genetic issues, giving you peace of mind. He's being raised in a home environment and has undergone Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to help with his socialization and development. We're currently unsure if he'll have a woolly or standard coat, which will be determined around 3 weeks of age.

This puppy will come vet-checked for heart, eyes, and patella luxation, up-to-date on vaccinations, and dewormed. He also includes a 2-year health guarantee.

He is well-socialized in our home and has benefited from ENS to help him adjust. Continued socialization and positive reinforcement training will be key to his development.

Meet Wildwood Shibas Idaho (Chris Wood, owner). Hi, I am Chris Wood and breed only purebred, AKC registered Shiba Inu puppies. I have a beautiful AKC registered black and tan Shiba Inu (pictured) who is working on her championship (between litters). I have raised delightful Shiba Inus since 2001 and have been breeding since 2016. We are careful in our breeding program to breed our Shibas for a mild temperament and healthy genetics.  All of our adults are DNA tested for 250+ diseases and genetic problems, vet-checked and tested to ensure healthy puppies. We raise every puppy in the house with us and socialize them from the very beginning. We have a doggy door so they can go out back to our 2-acre fenced backyard to run to their heart's content.  A tired dog is a happy dog. We upgrade our kennel each year. Puppies will be mostly potty-trained when they are ready for your home. Please call me with questions, 208 7two4 4027. All of our breeding adults are dual registered with AKC and APRI.  Our adults are from champion bloodlines.  All have been tested for patella luxation, heart conditions, and glaucoma.   We provide education and care for your new family member even after they go to your home.  We treat all of our dogs as if they were our family members because they are.
