Julius

Julius is a handsome boy, estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing about 10 lbs. He's believed to be a long-haired or wire-haired Dachshund, and he's already neutered and heartworm negative. Julius came to us as a stray from the Memphis Animal Shelter. While he can be a bit timid around a lot of dogs, he's doing wonderfully in his foster home with two small dogs and a cat! He also does very well in his crate and may already be house-trained.

Ideal Home

Julius seems to do best in a home with a calm environment. He's shown that he can get along with other small dogs and cats, but might prefer to be the only dog or have just one or two canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Julius is heartworm negative and has been neutered.

Training & Support

He is doing well in his foster home and may be house-trained. He also does very well when crated.
